Ruby's character was totally underwhelming, but I still got a kick out of the movie.

I loved both movies so far. The choreography, Reeves ability to not ruin every scene as long as he doesn't say more than 3 syllables. The colors and camera work.
Great stuff.
Love the universe they've created, too. I mean fuck they use pneumatic tubes to send contracts that are actually typed out on paper via old lady phone operators, there are several hotels just for assassins and a gold coin will get ya anything from a bulletproof suit to a machine gun. What isn't awesome about that?

Plus you just don't kill a mans dog. That aint right.

A detail I like is Wick nearly always double taps even in the middle of a fight against countless minions. One to the chest, one to the head.
Most movies wouldn't mess with such a thing.

Here's the thing about the Reacher/Cruise issue, in the books Reachers size does come up quite a bit but not in any way that matters to the story or most of the action. Anyone could play him and Cruise is a great action actor.
It's mostly just something to bitch about.
