It's still really smoky and hazy around here. This morning the air actually smelled okay, but by lunchtime, the smell of smoke again in the air. Nasty!

I am jonesing for some chocolate! I think it's PMS :eek:

There was a bunch of stuff on the news this morning about the fires out there. And a big one down in Arizona I think it was.

bad aim? or deadly aim! Hey I found the teen repellant ringtone.

It's the same frequency that they use in devices that is supposed to drive teenagers away ...apparently as you get older 20-30 you can no longer hear the frequency. I think there are 3500 of em installed in england. you can download the sound file for free.

It was played for me last night. I couldn't hear it. nothing ..with volume on full blast. However another person in the room who was 30 felt the worst sensation in the ears and was in discomfort for about 15 minutes.

sounds painful! LOL i don't know too many teens, and the ones I do know are all right, fortunately.

so I'm 36 - wonder if I could hear it, since the 30 yr old could, apparently?

they say some adults can hear it but most can't...I forget the percentage. so what they do is put these speakers in places where teenagers congregate but you don't want them and then play it. the onlly people who mind are the teenagers and it's annoying and sometimes painful so they leave.
