Just got through having a drink in honor of the legendary J.M.J. Listening to my old Run-D.M.C. albums.

While I'm at it, I'll toast Big L, Freaky Tah, Trouble T-roy, Subroc, Big Pun, Scott La Rock and whoever else I can think of (looks like I've got a lot of drinking to do!)

Hell, I might even toast Pac and Biggie, even though I couldn't stand either of them.

Truly sad news.. Like so many others "Walk This Way" was my first introduction into hip hop and I instantly became hooked on the music genre and on Run DMC.

He will be very much missed.
