How do you tell the difference between a Jacuzzi and a Whirlpool?

Look at the name on the tub?

If it says "Jacuzzi" on it, it's a Jacuzzi-brand whirlpool bath.

If it doesn't, it's not technically a Jacuzzi, though a lot of people use jacuzzi, whirlpool and spa interchangeably (kind of like calling all tissue "kleenex," adhesive bandages "bandaids," and [in the UK] vacuums "hoovers").

If you google 'jacuzzi vs. whirlpool' you'll see that there's some debate over how the bubbles are created: some say jacuzzis use air and whirlpools use water, whereas others say they do the same thing and Jacuzzi is just a brand name.

Does that answer your question?

So Jacuzzi is just a Brand name? Like kleenex is a facial tissue?

Yep, Jacuzzi is to whirlpool tubs what Kleenex is to tissue.

I don't know if Jacuzzi tubs have any special/distinguishing features in their jet systems or whatever, but it's probably more of a brand name than anything else.
