I started my weekend right today. I got myself an early birthday/Christmas present. Home Depot had 19" Magnavox tv's with DVD and VHS, CDR, and mp3 and Kodak disk playable for $179. (It is all in one.) I am replacing my 13" ancient tv in my bedroom. Now I can play dvd's there too. If I have company overnight, two different ones can be playing at one time.

On a sad note, I had to say goodbye to my favorite aunt today. (She is 92.) She is in kidney failure and will most likely be gone in a day or two. The rain was awful and it was an hour each way (you could hardly see at times) but I had to see her. I will miss her so.

((((((((((Jacqline))))))))) I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, as always. But congratulations on the new tv. I had bought a tv a 2-3 years ago that has tv/vcr combo and I moved it to my room. And then this year I got a dvd player to go in there. But I have seen those that have all in one, those are so neat.

Thanks, Toni. It is just so darn hard to keep losing all my special people in my life. Soon she will be with my Mom and my Uncle Lew, who's birthday I was born on. Whenever we would go visit at Christmastime, I would run to his lap and he would ask me what I got for my birthday and I would ask him what he got for his. Aunt Flora never forgot to send me a Birthday card. Mom used to start my day with a birthday phone song and now I will have to face the fact that those are in the past.

Thank you, sweetheart. I found out yesterday that she passed away Sunday night just before midnight. I know she is reunited with uncle Lew and my Mom and Grandma but I sure do miss her. She loved me unconditionally just like Mom.
