Shaking my head!!!! I know, it is hard to believe!!!
I saw something the other day that the USPS is expecting to process/deliver 20 BILLION cards and letters this season. And Monday will be the busiest day to mail pkgs. They expect to ship over a million pkgs that day! I am glad I am off that day, even though we don't handle the pkgs. There is overtime being worked, I don't due to my restrictions and I had enough of that when I didn't have a choice, they are bringing ppl in 2 hrs early. They are not letting them work one their off days, but they might before Christmas. There is some money to be made by working overtime, but it is not worth it. You are so tired you don't feel doing anything and don't spend time with the little darlings. Even though my little darling, isn't so little! He is as big as me! Which of course, is not saying a whole lot!

[COLOR=DEEP PINK]My daughter called me last night and my heart broke for her. With the flu, she has coughed so much, she broke a rib. She spent 4 hours in the emergency room. She said she has never been in such excruciating pain in her whole life. It even hurt her to talk on the phone. She will see the OB on Monday, but she said the baby will definitetly be born by Friday. I am feeling so helpless that I cannot ease her pain or do something for her. With a broken rib, she will not be able to push.......Please keep my baby and her baby in your prayers. [/COLOR]
Other than that, a friend of mine whose birthday was a few days before mine came over yesterday and we celebrated both our birthdays. (That was nice and a good excuse to get the rest of my decorating finished.) In fact my daughter called while we were celebrating so I had someone to keep me focussed after I hung up with her.
