My heart about leapt out of my chest when I saw THAT song. I always thought to myself that it was my favorite love song. I much prefer the original version sung by the guy who wrote it (John Michael Montgomery) than the group that sang it later. If only...............

I am having a LONG week. I was at work 11 hours, 12 hours, and last night got off after only 10 1/2! Those phones didn't stop ringing yesterday. It would be nice for a happy medium........

Jacqline Sorry I'm late, but lets stretch the birthday wishes for the whole year. Happy Birthday.

Ljmo I can't remember whether or not that I heard if your wife had the portacath put in. I still l think that it is great way to make thing easier for her, but you have to be careful who is taking care of it. I had a friend tell me today that her husband had one for cancer treatment and one of his nurse did not know how to use it properly and caused and infection. Pryaers and hugs for you and your wife.

yes she had the portacath put in a couple of months ago, and so far so good, it bothers her some but i am sure in time she will get used to it being there, as far as them taking care of it she goes to the cancer hospital and they do it for her, only problem its an haour and a half away just like all her dr,s . but things could always be worse! i think we have all week this time with no dr appointments, but the week of christmas we have 3 to go to!! hope you have a great day!! thanks!!

Look at it this way.........it gives you more time to spend together. It is hard for me this time of year at times when I miss my parents and my sis, who passed away on Dec. 29th last year. I mostly turn it around and celebrate for them.

I found a way to buy some software (cheap) that allows me to make high quality recordings of my voice reading bedtime stories to my granddaughter, who will be turning one year old in exactly a week. I will be able to burn it onto cd's and send them to her in Denver so she will at least have Grandma's voice reading to her since Grandma can't be there to watch her grow up and do all the new things. Long after I am gone, she will have the recordings from me.

Bob, thanks for the belated Birthday wishes. A lot of people here that I thought were my good friends totally blew my birthday off.

I thank God every day for MM, Toni, Ljmo, and others who keep me going. It has been nice to add you to the list of friends who care, Bob.

I think that that is a wonderful gift to your granddaughter. That is so ingenius. I am sure it is one that she and your daughter will cherish for many years to come, and she might could even pass it on to her own children. Wouldn't that be something, the kids hearing their great-grandmother reading to them!
