Storms are moving in so just have a minute, but wanted to let you know I talked to Jacqline and she made it ok. She has been sleeping alot, since she only got a couple of hrs sleep. Her daughter and son-in-law are at work and the baby is at the nanny's at another house. She said that they should be home soon. She said that she will try to call me tomorrow night to update me. Take care.

I am so sorry that I didn't come online last night when I got home. We hadn't gotten much sleep in the last few days and I just went to bed and slept 12 hours straight!
Thanks so much to Toni, MM. and Ljmo, (and all my other friends here) for all your support.
A world renowned surgeon from France just so happens to be at that hospital in Denver and he did the surgery. He said that there were no complications during the operation, and the operation went smoothly. I was glad that I was there for the whole thing before I had to go home. I was hoping to see her before I left but they weren't quite ready for us when I HAD to leave for the airport.
My daughter called me about 10 pm last night and said that she was doing well so far and that she was waiting to go feed the little angel.
The morning of the surgery, the baby was not allowed to eat. You know you cannot explain that to a baby. She seemed to know that she wasn't able to and accepted it. We played with her in a children's play room until they got her into her surgical outfit. She didn't cry when the nurse took her away, she just stared at us until she was out of sight. The rest of the story you know.........
I think the baby sensed things were going on. When she had all those tests the day before, she clung to her parents and I the night before, she didn't want to go to sleep, just wanted to be held.
If we can just get her through tomorrow without any complications, she should be out of the woods.
I had a good of a time as possible under the circumstances. I met more of their Doctor friends and we had dinner at one of their houses one night and more came to my daughter's & son in law's another night. Everyone is in love with our little angel.........she just has that charisma about her.
She starting kissing and crawling while I was there.....(I would like to think that she waited for me to do these things). I would gladly give my life for this child. It was very good to be with them again. I missed them all.
We did get to spend one night in the mountains before the pre op appointments. We all enjoyed getting away. It is so beautiful up there.
Thank you all for everything. I missed you all and am here for you, too.

I am glad to hear that she is ok and that you had a good time as much as can be expected. Sounds wonderful. I was starting to worry since we had not heard anything yet, but then I figured no news was good news in this case! Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love ya. Get some rest. I am, I have not had much. I worked last night and had my monthly follow up visit for my shoulder so did not get to lie down until 12:30 and my baby boy woke me at 3! He would have earlier, but he fell asleep also!!!!!!!!!
