I think we should have some kind of requirement for "leaving Lit" threads.

I say you should be here for at least, oh, 6 months or more before you can really say you're "leaving".

And, in the fine print, you must also be gone for at least 6 months before you can really call it "leaving". More than one goodbye thread and you must sit in the corner with a dunce cap for a good 5,000 posts.
