In having discussions with the more conservative and accomplished men that mentored me through the Marines and the Martial Arts I was forced to defend my positions which forced me to examine my positions only to discover their fallaciously-hollow underlying hodge-podge of conflicting and poorly thought-out philosophies and beliefs about Conservatives in general.

After 9-11, I began a serious and rigorous study of Liberty beginning with Federalist. This led me to Economics and Objectivism and the deep appreciation of Capitalism and the only true champion of Lady Liberty.

So, if I come off as brusk or dismissive, it is only the enthusiasm of the reformed smoker, the new Vegan, the Born-Again Christian, of the Liberal so full of him/herself that they cannot possibly ever be shaken from the faith of a True Believer (Hoffer).
