With thanks to today's Guardian and Times...

1. Plans to open a northern front against Iraq - seen as vital to ensure a pincer movement against Baghdad - were looking shaky last night as Turkey resisted an ultimatum from Washington to accept US troop deployments or forfeit a multi-billion dollar compensation package.

2. The US and Britain have been forced to postpone until next week the publication of a second UN resolution designed to marshal support within the security council for military action.

3. The US secretary of state, Colin Powell, in effect accused the two European countries of being too cowardly to go to war.

4. The latest opinion polls in Turkey suggest that 90% of the electorate is opposed to war.

5. AMERICA’s relations with the Iraqi Opposition were in danger of breaking down yesterday after a leading rebel openly criticised plans for a post-Saddam Iraq and a powerful Shia Muslim group confirmed that it had deployed forces inside the country.

Your biggest problem now George is how the hell are you going to tell Daddy?...

American troops are waiting off the coast of Turkey because they want several billion more than George is willing to pay.

That "chemical weapons factory" Powell showed the UN was a hut and a couple of shacks in Kurdish - controlled Northern Iraq.

The Kurds, meanwhile, nominal US allies, are determined to oppose any Turkish invasion of their territory.

Most Brits and Germans now consider the US a greater threat to world peace than Iraq.

Bush will never get anything approaching a UN mandate to invade Iraq, and he's too smart to do it without it. I hope.

According to his psychological profile, of which there are many copies on the net, that's precisely what he would do...

He has a childlike temper which, if he is crossed or beaten down in any way, will show itself in an irrational and indesriminate lashing out...

No matter what the consequences...

Now you really are a fucking idiot.

Not factoring into your analysis Chirac's blunderous gaffe telling Eastern Europe to shut up, and the pressure they can exert on the French . . . all that I can understand.

But thinking you can predict George W. Bush's actions through a psychological profile you found on the Internet?

Until now, I had never done a double take and thought to myself, "He did not just say that." Until now.

You've really fucking lost it, old boy. I'm serious. That's dumb. Like drinking-an-entire-truck-of-Guinness-and-puking-on-the-Queen dumb.

Don't American corporations rely on profiles to help make a decision as to whether somebody should be hired. Why is it good for them and not good for Bush...

I'll tell you why because you and people like you who are so immersed in the cult following that Bush generates with his demands for war and "watch my lips - no negotiation" attitude you can't see the wood for the trees, or in this case the man for the hype.

Psychological profiles are not plucked from the sky, although I doubt you would know that. In the case of a high profile person like Bush they are the result of years of studying the actions and thoughts of an individual. No matter that the buffoon is the President of the United States, he has repeated the same errors, carried out the same temper tantrums and displayed the same thinking over the same issues time and time again, since he was a toddler.

If you are going to start calling me names which you are apt to do when you haven't anything sensible to contribute (I wonder what your profile would say) then just take look at any of Bush's that can be found via any search engine...

Or forever hold your peace...

Meamwhile, in Paris, Jaques Chirac is giving the butcher of Zimbabwe the red carpet treatment by welcoming Bob Mugabe and his wife to France. She is on a shopping trip, and Jacques is probably giving old Bob a blowjob. :D Those crazy French! Typical Eurotrash..........

Bob Mugabe and his wife to France. She is on a shopping trip,

This morning's papers are giving great prominence to a security guard who was trying to protect Mugabes wife from the cameras...

He had his back to the photographers and was holding his macintosh wide open like a cape to shield her from the lens, she had her eyes averted to the ground...

It looked for all the world as though she was being confronted by a flasher...

:D

When this is all said and done and ended successfully.

I am going to troll you relentlessly with your own words.

Every day, day after day, year after year...

Ask Dixon!

Yes, psychological testing is used in making some hiring decisions. But there is a pesky procedure to be followed - the test has to be administered before there can be any meaningful results. But of course, the profiles are "all over the net."

And I agree - you are a fucking moron. Please do away with your phony indignation about name calling when you use snotty ass remarks such as "people like you."

As to individual profiles, yours is easy:

*Hic*

I heard it had a leftward bent to it that was easily described by everybody but Monica as her description was a tad too muffled to make out...

OK then...

"I'll tell you why because moronic fucktards like you who are so immersed in the cult following that Bush generates with his demands for war and "watch my lips - no negotiation" attitude, you can't see the wood for the trees, or in this case the man for the hype."

Better now?

It should be it's more in a style you'd recognise...

Temper, temper! The veins in your neck are bulging and the tip of your nose is becoming even redder.

He lives to be abused.

But it's ridiculous to think that just because you read it on the Internet, that it must be true. Otherwise, people would think you really do live your life in an alcoholic stupor, simply because everybody says that about you here.

Would I be interested in a genuine psychological profile taken from an expert who derived his conclusions from lengthy examinations on a person-to-person basis? Well, yeah, sure. But it would probably not be leaked onto the Internet. That's just like the phony "IQ Test" that circled cyberspace that claimed that George W. Bush had the lowest IQ test of any recent president.

You've already proven you know absolutely fuck-all about anything on this side of the pond. Don't embarrass yourself here, old boy . . .

I suppose you're right...

After all we cribbed our Iraqi intelligence reports from a student's paper that had been published on the net and passed them on to Powell...

Poor George-- I feel so sorry for him!

He's really got himself in a mess now. If he backs down, after months of sabre rattling and a massive military buildup in the Midle East, he'll totally lose face, and be derided by his own right-wing base as a bigger wimp and coward than his dad. On the other hand, if he goes ahead with the war, he faces enormous resistance here at home, not to mention an explosion of anti-American sentiment worldwide.

Suppose they held a war, and no one came?
:p
