I quite often where thongs, eveningwear and otherwise. It's all about the body thongs by Victoria's Secret. You can hardly even tell you have them on...which is a huge plus in my book

If you're worried about it, wear one on a weekend or a short day like that -- sometime when you can wear it around for a few hours and see how it feels.

Another option, carry a spare pair of regular panties in your purse, just in case you decide it's not for you.

only if i don't have to do much. if i have to work, there's no way i can wear a thong. I have to reach and bend at work and that's way too much irritation from a thong.

For everyday, my favorites are Frederick's all cotton. The key is to have a very thin back to it. Lace and width is the source of discomfort. For dress up, comfort is not an issue.
