Some use the Daewoo brand, some have discarded it. The reports do not seem to have homed in yet on exactly which of the many companies in the group made the loan. The loan was made in 2016, if it was made by Daiwoo Motors(GM) its source would be subject to disclosure under US Accounting Standards. The media has not reported that detail yet but it seems to me that if the loan was authorized by a Korean company that is bad for Trump, but if authorized by a US company the non disclosure could be even worse.
