I have just done my usual end of a Bank Holiday litter pick in the roads in front and to the side of my house. In two hundred yards all I picked up was about 3 litres capacity and most of that was big M items.

All the litter bins are stuffed to capacity but 3 litres of litter from thousands of people is minimal. Perhaps the message about litter is getting through - or is it the Council's £150 fine for someone dropping even a cigarette end?

I think it is more likely that because the whole area is litter free at the start of the day people feel that they should keep it that way.

Ten years ago I would have filled a black sack with about fifty litres' worth of litter.

I'm not sorry, don't care enough. I'm not here to compete with anyone. I just like seeing them published. Gives me a weird objective view of my work and helps me to improve my non erotic writings. Although I just submitted a non erotic one for the above mentioned reason, it's one of my better stories imo but seeing it published will help me improve on it if need be. One story I edited so the votes aren't that great tbh I rarely look at them. I only noticed cuz I looked the day after a nasty post in the AH.
Thanks for the offer of a link but that's okay. There's a reason I don't put a link to my stories up on my sig. I hang out too much on the GB and I write niche stories that I'd rather people on there didn't associate with me. :)
