Not sure how much they change the Charger, but I had a cop friend back in the 90s who showed me what his Crown Vic could do. Damn thing was scary fast and tough as hell.

They upped the horsepower by about 30%. Anything more than that and they run hot with all the slow driving and parked with the ac on. The main change is in the suspension and brakes. You might stay with him on a drag run but he'll eat your lunch on the twists ad turns.

The one I did for the police chief is unmarked and maxed out. He uses it for high speed pursuit and emergency runs. It's half again as fast as the regular patrol cars. It will almost run with my 72'.
 
Blast!

My wife and I went the cinema last night to see the movie of the art exhibition on Manet. It was very good, but my wife didn't see it. She had her eyes shut all the time trying not to throw up. She had several cold sweats. She would liked to have left the cinema but daren't move.

She lasted until the end and then barfed in the Ladies toilet. I drove her home very carefully. By the time we got home, I was having the cold sweats and stomach pains too. I haven't eaten anything since 5pm yesterday - that's 29 hours - and can only drink a little.

It's the dreaded norovirus.

I'm off back to bed hoping that it will be gone tomorrow.

When I was in Sydney I wanted to swim on Bondi Beach on Christmas Day. It was pouring with rain with a storm lashing the surf into unpredictable patterns.

But I swam, and surfed at a nearly deserted Bondi.

Gah, Doritos are too more-ish. You barely notice how many you've eaten. Then you feel nauseous and guilty. So you have some more to make yourself feel better. :D
