I wish I could be more straight with her.
You will get there. One day you'll snap and start whacking her on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and thennnnnn she'll geddit.
Either that or she'll never pee on the floor again.
That newspaper trick comes in handy for so many reasons, I guess.

How did you know it was about that?

I rather liked living on my own.

Grandparents can be mean

Today we were looking after our infant granddaughter for the morning.

She has been constipated and wasn't feeling very well. She slept most of the time with us, ate her lunch and was then collected by her father.

Twenty minutes after her return home father rang asking for an emergency top-up of nappies. She had filled four between getting home and his phone call.

We thought that was amusing (but did remedy the deficiency).

Og

PS. Perhaps we shouldn't have given her so much fruit :D

Perhaps her parents should have been giving her more . . . ;)

Lived through two hurricanes and the worst tornado of my life back in the day. I was in Atlanta at the time of that killer tornado and my Aunt and I stood and watched that wind take the deck chairs up and carry them far, far away across the hill. We just laughed. It was so surreal.

Sounds like a Dali come to life.

How would I not know about that?

Yes there is a cure for that. Gin & tonics. ;)

Don't see that too often - dangerous road condition warnings on the TV for snow and ice.

Yes, folks, it's bloody freezing!

I should invest in a bigger garbage can. Hmmm.

What am I doing awake? :(
How about a chinchilla cage?

What was I doing awake all night?
We suffered together and didn't even know it.
