Oh yeah, struggled with that for two years, then moved up the food chain to ISDN, 128 kbits was better then 45 kbits, then I could finally get DSL, the cable company also offeded cable at 5 times the speed of DSL. Been there ever since. The speed just keeps going up and up.

I'd just found several comments on one of my stories that made me smile. They shared a common theme of happiness that mind control stories can end up having kind people in them who don't get ruthlessly used and who do end up really caring for each other. Sweet, no?
