Logo and SJ ... sorry to hear you've had youngster issues to deal with (I have not-so-fond memories of those days)

(((huggs)))

aside:

what is a "basket case" anyways

I've heard it a million times .. what does it mean ?

I just read what Scarlett posted, but I always assumed it was someone who had lost all their marbles. You know how people joke that when you're in an assylum, you take basket-weaving classes? I (mistakenly) thought it referred to that somehow.

Because of a piece of you will always be there ~ no matter what. That's what makes you a wonderful person. You give your heart ~ piece by piece ~ to those who you think deserve it, never really wanting anything in return, except to be wanted and loved and needed....so, you can never let go. Because you wait for all of those emotions to be returned. Waiting for your heart to become whole again.

 ~ just know that we are here for you...to hug you, to kiss you and to let you know that you are loved...

Thank you, Honey ... and logo and mat and cloudy and hugo. I'll either move past it ... or wallow in it. (I'm so so so good at wallowing!)

BLURT: My size is all over the place. Just got back from spending a gift card I rec'd for Christmas. Bought sizes 8, 10, 11/12, M, L, XL ... and they all fit. (Okay, the size 8 skirt does have to be pulled on over my head -- 'cause it won't go over my hips -- but it does fit.)

Just a tip: If you call somebody, and it's obvious they've lost their voice, don't try to talk for 20 minutes.

Not with all three kids home (still holiday break) and absolutely bouncing off the walls obnoxious.

My son woke up early with horrible stomach pains.

Damn it.

Our family has been through the stomach-type flu for the past two weeks. The respiratory problems, the throwing-up, the being camped out on the potty issue -

(it's so nice to share, isn't it?)

Now our son has been complaining about his stomach hurting for the last couple of days. Once he had something to eat it was fine so we assumed it was a result of sinus drainage overnight. No fever, no digestive upset anymore, minimal cold symptoms now - there seems to be no reason for this.

But early this morning - 3:30 a.m. - he came in to our room and was whimpering in pain. Ibuprofen, tums, snuggle with mommy and daddy, then wait until morning to call the doctor. He has an appointment with his pediatrician in an hour.

What on earth is happening now?

thats totally sukky

I suppose there are no relatives close by that would love to spend time with the little bundles of joy so that mom could recuperate ?

You mean the ones that are at a funeral today?

Woohoo I ordered my ultimate I am too lazy for my own good present for my birthday, its backordered, but Oh well :)

I am getting a Roomba! No more having to have my husband take the baby away while I vacuum. I can start it and LEAVE.

You know babies who are calmed by a vacuum, well mine is the opposite, she gets her little toddler self worked into a tizzy and I can't deal with it any more!

Somedays it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. I mean, really. If one more thing happens today I just might decide to pitch the computer out the window, climb under my blankets and tell the whole world to go to hell.
