Spend 16 years of my life listening to self-righteous men and women spew the words of God while not having a clue what they meant. I questioned the life I knew, the words I read, and the God I was forced to worship. Then I decided to see God from another pair of eyes. I studied the Tao, a bit of Native American teaching, and multiple 'pagan' religions. I learned a few of the names God has and learned how to meditate.
We aren't really on speaking terms anymore. More of a Christmas card mailing sort of contact.
I could go on but I get a bit long winded on the subject.

The night time brings about the restless spirit

What is going on with the weather around the world??
News headlines as I awake today.

"Torrential rain has caused flooding throughout many parts of Britain, with hundreds of homes swamped and many roads closed.Among those areas worst hit are southwest Scotland, Cumbria and west Wales.A severe flood warning "with serious danger to life and property" was issued across the Teviot Valley in the Scottish Borders.
In total, 15 flood warnings are in place in Scotland, while there are six in place across Wales and Cumbria.
The Met Office is expecting Scotland to be the most badly affected region, after a weekend of heavy rain.
But it says Northern Ireland, Wales, the North and southwest England are also likely to suffer early today.
Rainfall in the Scottish Borders in the 24 hours until 7am was around the monthly average of 70mm.
Western parts of England and eastern areas of Ireland are likely to get around 50mm.
Flooding is reported from large areas of west Wales, from Whitland and Cardigan to Haverfordwest, Tenby, Pembroke Dock and Milford Haven.
The Environment Agency said flood warnings were in place on the River Cocker at Cockermouth, the River Ehen at Egremont and the River Greta at Keswick.
There were similar alerts in the Conwy Valley and at Llanrwst, in north Wales, on the River Solva at Solva and the River Western Cleddau at Haverfordwest.
A total of 11 lower-status flood warnings were in place, one of them on the River Dart between Dartmeet and Totnes, Devon."
