There was a roach in my house last night.

Roomie A: Eww! There's a roach crawling on your laptop. *speaking to roomie B*
Me: WHAT?! *in total alert mode*
Roomie B: Kill it! *speaking to roomie C, who was listening to Nickel Back*
Me: Gotta let you know, I'm shit scared of roaches. *stands up and runs to bedroom, jumps on the bed and hides under the covers*

2 mins of pounding heartbeat later...

Roomie C: Hey Chicken *yells from the living room* We killed it. Come out.
Me: Hang on. *in meek voice...walks out to see her holding a magazine with a dead roach on it...screams, opens the door and runs out of the house*

I didn't come back in until 10 mins later, and my three roomies were looking at me like I was some kind of aliens. I totally lost my cool image last night.

Why did it have to be a roach? The only creature that I'm afraid of...*shudders*
