gotta say, coming from a generation where this was a thing that always got done at 16 this looks odd to me at first But I get that things are different now...

It's just that association with being 16 and the porn board that strikes me funny...

Well, you also have to remember we do things in a different order here anyway - sex first (16) *then* driving (17) - so we can have sex in cars - then alcohol (18) so we've got the driving out of our systems before we start drinking... hopefully.
