I cuddled a tiny newbie on Saturday - my brother in law's first. He was less than 24 hours old. I forgot how damn small they are!

Speak for yourself. I have 3 daughters and the smallest one was 9lbs, 4oz. The biggest was 10lbs, 6oz. The nurses in the maternity ward called her the Monster Baby.

You can get Be Kind to Little Mice traps in shops. It's a plastic tunnel that the mouse gets lured into - chocolate works better than cheese. And then the door closes behind them, and they stay in there until you go and check up on them the next morning. Usually you see the plastic all fogged up and a furry little creature at the end of it, looking bored.

Then you can release it into a field or a forest
