for fuck's sake, stop lurking, and stalking me by reading every fucking post I make. I'll talk to you, but not if you take on that nasty, accusatory tone, otherwise it's just fucking creepy, so stop.

Wow. I want one.

Mmmm! And I just redecorated my office to a turn of the century decadent's den. Now I know what to add if I ever switch back to desktop.

And here I was pleased with my modification of the giant whiteboard to a distressed-walnut-and-gold-gilt frame. Clearly I'm a piker.

That just means more fiber! :D
*chuckles* Well this is true.

They picked enough for 2 1/2 pies. I made one pie and one large mulberry cobbler. My son helped with the second crust and my daughter helped with the cobbler. :) I think I may need to send hubby out or the kids out to buy a gallon of vanilla ice cream. Since I can't drive yet. *sigh*

Redhaired, you're making my hungry and nostalgic at the same time. The elementary school I attended as a child had a mulberry tree growing in the alley where we parked our bikes. I always loved the sweet, juicy fruit and the purple-stained fingers afterward.

My mother-in-law has several bushes, which is where we get these. Some years they are plentiful and we can beat the birds in harvesting them, other years we lose and the birds win.

I hadn't had mulberries since growing up until I married my spouse. Before that the last time was when I was a young kid. One time after church, I was still wearing my white church dress and I came into the house with the skirt portion lifted up and weighed down with something.

I told my mom, "Look I picked all these mulberries!" (white dress + mulberries = stains and look of horror on mom's face.

I then dropped the skirt and out fell piles and piles of rocks from the driveway. :D

Another fruit I miss are elderberries. I don't see them around much anymore. Those were fun to eat and get all stained up with too.

*hugs to you and your memories*

Ah, but that's the lovely thing. It's never too late to start. Just add them to the list of "things I could do today."

I'll even pay.

At work, but doing nothing. We have visitors coming in today so I'm just sitting here converting oxygen to carbon dioxide. :(

Sure, I'd take him. :D

You may end up with two bouncy kids afterwards though.

We have a trampoline. Feel free to bounce outside while I sit in the air conditioning. :D

Girl, how anyone managed to survive in Alabama before A/C is beyond me. It's been hitting in the mid-90's all week, with humidity to match.

Okay, this is not fair. I'll be outside bouncing with a 6 y/o while two gorgeous women stay inside laughing at me?

The liquor store's open just over the county line. While you're bouncing, we'll make a run for tequila and margarita fixins. Butthead's gone for the week....maybe a slumber party?

And, he'll be 7 on the 23rd. ;)
