YEah, my almost four year old sucks her thumb when she is sick . . .well I had to go Get WIC today and some asshole guy came up to her and told her she was too old to be sucking her thumb and that she was going to suck it right off. (my kid is really ill) she started crying adn then coughing. I wanted to bash his face in. FUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Dar...tell your little girl not to worry about a thing. It's her. It's her thing. I myself ( I used to be embarassed by this, but hey...it's my thing) still suck my fingers. I suck my pointer, and my middle finger of my right hand. I don't care if people know anymore. It's not that big a deal, other than being detrinmental to the health of my teeth. I have a HUGE oral fixation. I simply must have something in my mouth most of the time. Certain individuals get mad at me because I chew straws. That gets kinda nasty...but I don't do it too often anymore. Just a bad habit I guess, but hey...it's me...ya know?
