Okay, I have tried to be a good sport and laugh, but damnit, I have a phobia about spiders. It's an irrational, uncontrollable, pathological fear of the things. Pictures can leave me with nightmares, something like an animated version of The Hobbit with its chittering, huge, people-eating spiders can leave scars.

People who enjoy making fun/posting pictures of giant arachnids must not have any fears of their own. Either that, or they have zero empathy.
