Are there even chat rooms? if so, are they down, and when will they be fixed?



Actually, i don't care, I was just being facetious. I noticed there haven't been any such threads here in the lounge, and I wondered if this thread would be allowed to remain here. If it gets to stay, then I got to be first, if not, Que sera, sera.

In other topics, the BIL recently had an unfortunate incident involving ice, a flat bed trailer, and commercial vehicle tires, which ended in a shattered elbow.

I also recently met a person whose legit first name was Ishmael.

I met a few of Anchorage's finest, last week, professionally. They were great and helpful.

Ouch is right! It still remains to be seen if, once his pain is controlled, he will not talk the doc into allowing him to return to work on some level. He doesn't stay still well.

I can't say if he was interesting as he was unwell. Unwell people don't talk much.

I went out to dinner on Valentine's Day at an upscale restaurant. The 70-something guy on duty in valet parking had "Ishmael" on his nametag.

My date was mystified as to why I found that so amusing.
