Like several members, I've have a story that will not post. It's been almost two months of posting, reposting and having it pend for weeks. It's been 3 weeks this last time.
I've received no contact from anyone related to this site. I hesitate to post more stories for fear of the same thing.

In the same boat. Trying to publish the next chapter in the series and haven't found a way through pending status even though I see new stories posting. Not sure how some are making it through and others are stuck. Seems like once a story is stuck in pending, nothing gets through.

I think a lot of us are falsely getting flagged as AI artists, and once you get that mark, nothing will get through.

I came on the site to post about a story lying in pending for 2 week. And I saw your comment! As i write it occurs to me that it might be worth signing up with a new name and trying that. Just an idea?

Is that your first story?

Well seeing this makes me not even want to try now. I was gonna write my first story and such but guess it's not happening.

The ones stuck in pending are such a small percentage, no reason to not write your first story. Follow all the rules, and most sail thru without a problem. Even if you have to store it in a cloud account, and post it somewhere else. Go for it!

Same experience. I have stories getting flagged for formatting and returned that are written in the same format as other published stories. Then, yes it sits in the pending purgatory for a little bit before being published. I also submitted a "ticket" if you will, to have questions answer with no response.

I've had success getting all of my stories published, but hasn't always been easy or timely. Not sure of a real person actually reads a submission or if A.I scans them.

I've not noticed this with other stories I submitted, but is it normal for the submission form to rename your story? Meaning the doc file I upload is the title (No Trespassing Ch 11.doc), but then when I click Preview and Publish, it changes the file to my user name_{random numbers and letters}.doc. I attached a screenshot for reference of what the site it changing it to.

Just wondering if it being renamed is the issue as I'm now at 1 month trying to publish the next chapter in an existing series. Still looking for a solution.

In the title field it has a full stop after 'Ch'. Perhaps this is disallowed (to filter out one type masquerading as another, like .doc.exe), and only in such cases is it renamed. I have no idea if this is likely or relevant.

I have one story that I've been trying to get posted since September. I've pulled it back to drafts and resubmitted it. I've deleted it and resubmitted it. I've done a major rewrite to remove things like calling a mid-twenties woman a "young lady." It's never been sent back. Over three months and a new year later, it just sits in Pending...

However, during that time, I've had two others get published within a few days of their submission, so it does not appear to be an account level issue. As long as you're not publishing additional chapters that go after the one stuck in pending, there's no real reason not to at least try to get other things published.

I suspect that the site has split its pending list into a current and a backlog list; the former gets priority.
