Do Admins Exist on this Website?

I suspect the cause of the rejection is fully within your control. What exactly did the rejection notice say?
My rejection was for AI which I have never used in my writing under any circumstances. What recourse do I have for that? Clearly they are using AI to detect AI and it's making tons of mistakes.

I submitted a story. It got rejected. I submitted it again and included note requesting they please reconsider, and if they decide to reject it again, to please provide a reason. Once again, the story was rejected without feedback.

I have followed the site's rules. The story is grammar checked, spellchecked and the characters are of-age. It's a relatively tame romance story. The only snafoo I could imagine there being is that I used HTML format coding to indent paragraphs. The coding should not show up on the published webpage. Even if this was an issue, there is no reason for admins to not make this niche reason evident after two rejects.

It's becoming clear to me that this site uses an automated system / AI to check stories. Does anyone even manage this website in general? Because I can't help but notice several threads concerning a lack of helpfulness or responsiveness from admins. It is very discouraging. This is how to wall out new content and stagnate a website.
The entire system is automated. You submit a story, it goes into the database and your console shows pending. If the database is functioning properly your story goes through various filters and if approved it is given a little gray publish tag and the date that it will go live. If your story isn't approved it is sent back to you hopefully with a reason that makes sense. Now if there is a hiccup in the system your story doesn't move from pending to the filter category so the system doesn't recognize the story (has not gone through the filters) so it ends up in pending purgatory

As always, my opinion based on experience and YMMV

You have no recourse. It is up to the site owners as to whether or not they want to push your story through manually. Some people have whined and complained in a PM and have gotten their stories posted others have not had that luck

I tried to resubmit it as is and it's been pending for a few days now. Do you think it's worth deleting and then resubmitting with a different title?

If you are indeed in pending purgatory, deleting the story and submitting as new with a different title may not work if the row in the database is associated with you is corrupt. You can try it. Since you got an AI rejection letter, there may be a flag on your account as well + have no idea how Literotica does anything.

If it's only been a few days, I'd wait a bit longer. Each time you change something, you start all over again from the back of the queue, but you have no idea how far along the conveyor belt you might be.

I know for sure the bots start to crawl over your story within the first hour: a) because I had a rejection for a suspected content breach within 50 minutes; and b) I've had recent stories go from Pending to New within the first hour, with the publication date a few days later.

If you take your story off the conveyor belt, you're starting again, every time.
