Is there a useful purpose for Tabasco?

...besides scrambled eggs, of course? And why does Tabasco get all the recognition when Texas Pete and especially Cholula are far superior national brands?

I used it on chicken last night. Put a couple shakes in my homemade BBQ beans, too.

Tabasco - it's not just for eggs anymore. ;)

A couple of blasts of Tobasco, along with beef stock ice cubes, a dash of horseradish, and lime salt mixed in with celery salt on the glass rim are some of the secrets that make my Spicy Caesar a legendary boozy beverage.

Tapatio and sriracha just don't bring the same game to the drink.

Texas Pete is a Louisiana-style hot sauce in the United States developed and manufactured by the TW Garner Food Company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

i knew you couldn't trust pete. he is not from texas.

i like that vinegar with peppers in it you put on catfish.

I forgot to buy spicy sauce one evening long ago. we were already rolling makis.

So I dropped some tabasco over some mayo.

Became my favorite spicy condiment.

Ur welcome.

I'm wth ya. Tabasco brings the heat but with a metallic aftertaste. Cholula brings flavor.

i actually like the way frank's tastes, but it's not very hot. not that i like the super hot hot sauces of the world, but i do like some heat. tapatio is about perfect heat wise, but i've found i like the taste of sriracha better. it's great on pizza, scrambled eggs and tacos.

and now i want some damned pizza. stupid lack of money.

We will have to give tapatio a try.
We do grilled chicken breasts with some melted butter and Frank's. Makes for a good buffalo chicken sandwich

50% Tabasco/50% lemon juice. Fog it onto your skinned wild game meat while hanging to age the meat. Keeps the flies and the rot away.

We used to sprinkle it on joints we'd pass to those we didn't like. Works good in amyl nitrate too. Hot snorts...

Dribble some drops on a corn chip and throw it into the chicken yard. Whichever bird eats it will behave oddly.

Squirt some on a White Castle slider and you almost won't mind the burger's taste.

Tabasco is also a Mexican state with many swamps and pre-Columbian sites. At the zoo in Villahermosa we watched a male jaguar get a blowjob from a pregnant female. Apparently he hadn't dipped his wick in sauce first because she didn't bite it off.

Tabasco is for wusses. Try the Portuguese Piri Piri. It originates in Africa - Peri Piri is Swahili for hot. Hotness can vary according to the chilies but properly made you won't sit down for a week. ;)
