The brake master cylinder light came on in my warning system on my truck on the way to work the other morning.

Everything works ok, I have noticed the engine idling a little rough lately though.
Having driven dodges for many years i knew i could disconnect the positive battery connecter for a couple of minutes and the computer would reset itself and the warning light would go off if nothing was wrong.

I did not know the idle would straighten out!

So basicaly i rebooted my computer in my truck sorta like i do windows 98 se.

Whats next a reset button on the dashboard?

Is microsoft taking over?

LOL If Microsoft takes over car computers, they will put some crappy Windows version on it and the car accident death rate will sky rocket. I mean, say you are going 70 on a freeway and 3/4 of all the cars just suddenly stop responding to steering and pedal control.

It's bad enough having to reprogramme the radio after the battery leads have been disconnected.

You should be. If Microsoft ever starts designing car operating systems...everyone is in trouble.
