personally think it is an overeaction, but hey it is up to you.....sounds like he is not a real sensitive guy after the last comment.

Or perhaps it has something to do with all the coffee beans in your cunny......

Just kidding....

I think it sounds like you both dodged bullets. Better luck with the next one!

Hello Litsters

Been a while!

So I was seeing this guy I met at a Best Buy. We hung out, went to eat, went to events and everything. It was very nice.

So yesterday I decided that we should be intimate finally. Things were going well and it was getting hot. He lifted up my dress and was rubbing my pussy. I lifted my dress over my head and he schooched back on the bed to turn the light on. He then said:
" Come over here baby, daddy needs to see that cunny."

I literally froze. I was grossed out ,I can get over the daddy comment (which was awkward), I can even deal with cunt but not cunny. For some reason that word is an extreme turn off. The only guys that use that word are:
  1. Older Guys that bag young girls online
  2. A 1920s irish immigrant
  3. Dudes that just don't get laid

I got dressed and left without saying anything. He has called me like 10 times and even came to my house as I was emptying the trash. But that word just makes me physically sick. I look at him and I get nauseated and my vagina shrivels up. I tried to call him but I was popping Nauzene tablets and thought it wasn't worth it since it was only 3 months.
Am I wrong? Should I really try to make it out with a guy that makes me physically sick?

Evenin' Kitkat103 - I do so hope you and yours are very well Ma'am. :rose:

Two Outta Three

An' all that.

Chuckles

Cunny? I would have made fun of him until I cried with tears.

I've seen the word cunny used here and there on this site. I hadn't encountered it before, either.

I think it's pretty icky, somehow.

Yeah, I guess if a word actually horrified me like that...I could see myself getting totally turned off by it. But I certainly would give the guy an explanation.

Did you ever tell him how he offended you ? Because maybe he seriously needs to take the "daddy" and "cunny" thing off the table for good...unless he makes sure his intended intimate partner likes those words. I seriously doubt either would be many's cup of tea for the first intimate session.

You're both at fault.
He said something he shouldn't have said, but then again- first intimate sessions are never perfect. at that point, both participants are discovering each other's likes and dislikes. In short- it was bitchy of you to not give him a second chance. :)

Since semantics seem to be very important to you and I fancy myself a bit of a wordsmith.... let me choose my words very carefully.

You and each of the synchophants who supported your ridiculous position are imbeciles.

Personally I kinda squicked at the concept the sentence evoked in the first place. I have more a problem with the daddy aspect of it, but leaving that aside.... do you really expect any human interaction to go exactly as you have it scripted in your head??????

Having fumbled along fairly ineptly for nearly 2 decades with the lovely mother of my children in what eventially proved to be a doomed relationship...I cannot imagine on even her worst day overreacting to a single word the way you have.

It seems pretty clear to me that you weren't that into him in the first place.

As a test try this: lay back in your bed...soft music, candles hand down your panties...(ooops! maybe I should have said under shorts I hope I didn't offend there)

Imagine Ryan Gosling being handed the script and mouthing those words.... OMG how ickey!

I have read books set in historical periods use the word cunny. In fact, I think "The Other Boleyn Sister" is the first book where I read it. I have to say that I dont think I have ever heard that word spoken aloud.

It saddens me that the use of a phrase disturbed you enough to abruptly end a relationship. His reply to you when he spoke absolutely makes me feel like you are better off with out him .. BUT ... I also wonder that if I were in that situation, I would probably feel some embarrassment and/or shame in creating the situation in my words, and might have lashed out to "protect" some of my ego ... particularly if the relationship was over anyway .... i might try to "save face" by trying to switch the focus. [Just trying to put myself in his place to see why he reacted as he did.]

IMO it may have been something else that was making you uneasy in the situation, something you couldn't quite identify, so you're mind zeroed in on that one word as a focal point. In that case it probably wasn't the word at all. This was your first time to be intimate with a new partner, it could have been any number of issues that turned you off. Some people just don't click physically no matter how well they get along fully dressed.
Give yourself a break--and him too.

Well said o wise one.

While I think that is a disgusting word to use and weird too...your reaction was way off IMO. Kinda hard to blame the guy for his response later on considering. That's how I see it.

I don't know you so won't vote, but that is one of the worst words ever. Any form of that word is revolting no matter how it's used. I think you did the right thing and yea I would stay away from him. Words like that should be discussed before used .

Scary Words

I don't think that I have ever heard cunny spoken and can recall only seeing it once in a soft porn story that a little girl used to describe herself.

I'd consider both words together when evaluating the situation.

If the daddy comment came completely out of the blue I could see how it could unnerve you causing you to leave.

Having been on the receiving end of the silent treatment, It's no fun, and I think that you should tell him you didn't care for the comment.

I agree with the comment above that maybe you weren't ready for intimacy with him and this tipped you over.

Continuing your relationship with him is a matter of your heart.

Good luck

That is interesting. The lovely mother of my children and I was discussing the etymology of cunnalingus one time... it seems to me that the word cunny is used in the movie Unforgiven I think that was the context. She knew the word from her self studies of English history and I know for a fact she has the book you mentioned!

IMHO... I would advise you to not react to one badly spoken, badly phrased sentence assuming you liked the rest of him. Talk to him about it, your distaste for the phrases he used, and his reason for saying what he did. Maybe y'all can sort it out since there obviously was some attraction there... if not, at least you gave it a real shot and it didn't work out.

That's my $.02, for what it's worth.

Resurrecting old threads?

For the record, KitKat hasn't even posted on Lit since she ran this poll. In August. So I'm pretty sure she has either moved on or just doesn't give a rat's ass at this point. Just sayin'.

And for the record, I think the word "cunny" is a complete turn-off, but I would have just said something and moved on.
