If sex is procreation, which is the continuation of the human race; then is sex counter productive?

But people who think about sex a lot also think about how to avoid unwanted pregnacies (so they can have more sex with less repreccusions), and they think about making porn (so they can enhance the pleasure they derive from sex or demonstrate the pleasure they derive from sex), and they think about ways to make money, so they can afford time off, so they can have sex, and buy DVD players so they can watch the porn that's been made to enhance the pleasure they derive from sex, and buy SUVs so they can drive to fun new places in the mountains to have sex on long weekends.

No, thinking about sex is very productive. The economy would come to a screeching halt if we stopped thinking about sex. It's the American way. Amen.
