On a related note, when I was in college I was friends with a really great looking guy who could pick up almost any women he wanted (he was really hot) and he would always come back with, ummmm...not ugly but very average looking women. One night while we were out I asked him why he wasn't picker since he could be and the supermodel figured women were always falling over him. His words?

It's all practice for the one that counts.

*luvpats, some things take time, and I feel you might have a
better choice in starting up a new relationship, if you get to
know the lady a little better, sometimes disappointments are
in our best interest. Just don't give up, you've come a long
way dear, keep on going

*I know exactly where you're coming from, potatohead, with
that "just happening" thing, but I've also not had further
communication from the other party after indulging, so I guess
I was considered without "substance", but you know it took 2
to tango lol learn from some experiences and move on,
is my motto

personal decision, it's entirely up to you to know with whom
and when, I guess you don't have much of the emotional

Richard, seriously, i think you need to maybe view other threads and stuff, get to know others here. It will make your stay here at lit. that much more fun. And then you'll also see that not everyone here are complete idiots.

Oh something else i meant to say to smartandsexy, im sure it does get extremely aggrivating. Waiting and wanting so much. And the sexual tension. BUT on the upside to all that, i can tell from what you've said you'd rather wait and find that person then to give up on what you've believed all along and just go for it with the first guy that you've dated for a few months. I admire you as well. Just remember when you start feeling the way you do to keep your chin up and remember why it is you made the decision you did to stay a virgin.

Just saying Hi to everyone, unfortunately, work is beginning to tell on me. I am working overnights, usually 8pm till 8am and what little time I get in the daytime is already spent running around. Forgive me if it seems my posting has gotten eratic, I am being buried by the mundane world. Also, thank all of you for the support and friendship, it came at a critical time, and is much needed. I will start posting again, as soon as my life comes back out of overdrive, and I start being able to think again.

It will make your already special day even more special! I seriously respect you in your decision, i hear of people doing that. I actually wish i would have waited too.
