With the New Year comes the self reflection and the thought...Wouldn't it be cool to live and work in another country? Anybody got any hot tips for working in another country? Job Market is hot here in the US...especially Vegas. Don't let the news fool you, it's pretty good in the US right now.

I think it might be important to know what type of job you're looking for. What are your qualifications? Are you fluent in more than one language?

The gun situation worries me. I’d be hesitant about raising children there.

It's not that bad, really. I don't know anyone personally that's been the victim of gun violence.

How's the job situation down there?

Business owner, management, writing, teaching, martial arts,

Do they really need American workers though?

Well, with the political climate right now, I'm sure Americans could claim asylum.....

Also, it seemed you were seeking to open it up to a global discussion. No?

Maybe I'll give it a shot. Best city in your opinion?

That's incredibly varied. I've lived across the country. Halifax is my favourite, but it's not got a great economy. Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver are all amazing cities. Toronto is Toronto.....

We're in Vegas now.. I wouldn't say their gun violence is any worse than the rest of the big cities in the US. We were here for New Years, there was an estimate 385 thousand people on the strip according to what we heard.. No mass shootings here.

I've spoken with the business manager of the skilled trade I belong to, he said around September they'd LOVE to have travelers come and take a whole bunch of money home. We've been talking about doing just that.
