I say both are fine...BUT the only peeve I have are when threads get taken over by 'lovey dovey' stuff....granted that's cute and and all, but sometimes it goes too far.....ok hate me if you will, but I think some of it is too much...

it happens and I've prolly been guilty of it in the past, I just think it should be stopped at a point and taken to PM/IM...I mean why thrust that towards people that are otherwise single or even depressed over losing someone that they care about ya know....but then again it's no different than people in person at a store or restaurant that dot he same sorta thing

I love intelligent conversation too... and while I'm probably more guilty than most of the lovey-dovey stuff, I can understand it to a point. So hopefully I can come in here sand not be 'l-d' and can put my intelligent head on.

What I do not understand is why some people enter threads that they obviously hate and then whinge and whine about them. It confuses me. It's almost like these people LOVE being unhappy. They LOVE to whine. They LOVE picking little holes in stuff and then acting the hurt one when someone reacts. I don't go in threads that I don't like or don't interest me.

Just my 'intelligent' observation on stuff lately. Some may disagree about the 'intelligent' part obviously....

It's precisely THAT point I'm trying to make to you. You come on and make these smartass comments and then get outraged, or are surprised if people respond in kind. Perhaps it's time you realised it's NOT everyone else....

And I expect you to respond. Just as I expect another snide comment or criticism in another thread to someone else as despite your remarks that "next time you'll keep your mouth shut".. you obviously can't. Now I am all for you making these remarks and observations if you want. They are your opinion and that's fair enough. Just be prepared for a comeback if you do though, rather than acting like a spoilt little child.

And you're right... it is annoying... as is the constant, unrelenting self-pity. So I will stop now.

I hope that you have that kind of love and happiness in your life and if not, I pray you will find it.

Now, on to the intelligence part. I'm all for intelligent conversation. I'm home with kids all day and would welcome a good workout for my brain.
