If you try hotlinking the image and then previewing the post, you can see for yourself whether the rest of us can see it.


Use the little icon in the top bar that looks like a tiny postcard with the stamp and a mountain scene on it, and then paste your image link in it.


We've been hotlinking images here without consequence for decades. Hell, entire threads are based on it, much like this one could be.

I am really SORRY about this, I do not know what is wrong.
After posting the image, I double check it on the forum,
To see if the link is working.
It works for me.
I have no idea what is happening.

And I know how to do it.
BUT…
I am new here and the FORUM RULES SAY…
Post links, not images.
I do not want to break forum decorum.
If a MOD can APPROVE
I will do so.

I have literally been embedding pics on the general boards for years with no problems. PS, this is the For Those Having a Bad Day thread created by head mod Laurel. She has no problems embedding pics on the general board, why should you?
