In the middle of writing a story and I need advice please

I know I posted once already but I am writing a novella at the moment. Basically, it's the future and feminism, lesbianism and gay culture has been defeated. Women must either be a Maid to a family or be a Mother (ie married to a Man and become pregnant with his children). Women are controlled by men and the women dont see it any other way. Any woman who disobeys the rules are considered Whores and are eradicated.

Anyway, this story starts with Danielle, a 16 year old bride and instead of getting a middle-aged Maid like she had as a child, she is stuck with a Maid closer to her own age. As times goes on, she begins to like the Maid and feels sorry for her when Danielle's husband, Charles treats the Maid so harshly. Eventually, Dabielle starts to rbeak unspoken rules such as seeing the Maid as human. One day, while her husband is away, she disguises herself as a Maid and decides to find out more about the Maid. Eventually, after being taken to a "club", she finds her Maid in a lesbian encounter.

Life gets complicated for a while as she can't get the erotic imagery out of her head but after time, life goes back to normal. However, when Charles goes away for a week, he orders the Maid to stay in the house to keep Danielle company. After catchign the Maid nude, the arousal she felt in the past surfaces again and after trying in vain to relive herself, she orders her Maid to relieve her. Afterwards, she is ashamed but the next day, the tension takes it's toll and they start a lesbian affair. ....

That's the story so far but it's influenced by "The Handmaid's Tale" and "1984". I'm still writing it but I need to knwo trhee things:

is it appropriate to post on here?
if I do post on here, can I still submit it to publishers such as extasy books or Loose Love?
is there anyone who would be willing to edit it for me when I've finished?

Thanks

Helen

Edit: oooooops sorry I didn't think about the age of the main character. I guess I stated 16 because in England, 16 is the age of consent (yes even for lesbians although I'm not too sure if the same is for m/m sex). However, I can always knock the age up a few years to aged 18.

First of all, every character needs to be 18 if they are going to have kind of sexual interactions with anyone.

Second of all, I'[m not a fan of that type of story line. No advice for that...

To answer your questions:

If all of the participants are eighteen or older, it should be fine to post here. If there's any doubt, you need to clarify the ages pretty quickly in the story.

There's a whole thread on this Forum called "Who Wants to Publish With Me on Fictionwise" full of authors who are selling works they have posted here. The stories you post here are your's; Literotica doesn't object to you posting or selling them elsewhere.

Finding an editor can be tricky. The most common methods are to start a thread in the Editor's Forum asking for help and to contact Volunteer Editors. Some people find an editor by asking authors who write stories similar to the one they are writing. Most of the people who edit here will want to know category, number of words, and what type of help you want.

I've read "The Handmaid's Tale." Pulling off stories like that require some skill. Good luck.

Yes if you fix the ages, maybe if the publisher allows it and ask in the Editor's Forum. :)

Interesting concept. I don't see any reason why it couldn't get published here unless your writing just sucks. The only advice I would give is: Edit, edit, and then edit.
