The other day i was talking to a few girl friends about the different forms of sex taking place in the world, and asked each one whether they would try anything. Each in turn said there were things that they wouldn't do.

Talking after a few drinks, their tongues loosened somewhat, they ALL confessed to talking in chat rooms mainly about doing the things they claim they wouldn't do for real!

Well, I think people are more likely to do/say things on line, or cybering for the same reason we read books; because we can in a way experience these things without having to actually commit to them. If someone has a rape fantasy, they can try it out annonomously, they don't really have to get raped, but it gives them a way to kind of live that experience. (you dig?) Like if you want to try out domination or something like that, you can, without the risk of getting involved with someone who's going to go psycho on you. I would like to start by saying I don't totally agree with you. I have a rape fantasy and I am involved in the D/s lifestyle. No, I have never actually been raped before, and I don't try to glamorize the act in any way. I have ROLE PLAYED it before though (yes, in RT sex acts) many times. I have gotten as involved as to have a safe word so I can say things like "no" and "stop" but not have to mean it. Anyone who is even remotely interested in D/s should understand what I am talking about.

I think this holds true in other aspects of life. Why are titty bars so successful? Because that is where a man can go and tell a real live girl some of his darkest fantasies and not be humiliated.
