I went to bed with a nice buzz last night, hoping the AH would be back to normal this morning. Yet I saw the same thing being stirred up, and those threads calling for sanity turning into another platform to spread the same issues around.

Aside from writing questions, I often come here because it cheers me up, and in some occasions allows me to cheer others up (which selfishly ends up cheering me up. Atm, the AH is making me feel I'd rather be in my own dark pit that wade in other people's.

Since I have nothing to work out with anyone (as far as I know), I think I'll stay away from here for a while. I know I'm not that important, but I just wanted to let people know so they don't think something happened to me (considering the bad luck AHers have had this year).

I hope instead of leaving you can avert your eyes from that which distresses you, and take pleasure in the values to be found here. A wise person said this on a thread that you probably should not visit:

People are going to do and say what they are going to. You can't change them, you can't make them do or say something else...

For myself, I find the best thing to do is lead by example, as much as I can... and let whatever happens, happen...

Things and people are what they are. I read somewhere, the key to happiness is "not minding what happens."

It's something good to practice in situations like this...

and of course, I, too, have said stupid, arrogant and wrong things... I think we all have...
