Hi everyone. I'm back. Had lots of fun: spent too much money in the Dealers' Room, ran into(almost literally ) Phil Lamarr, went to a Transformer panel, attended a workshop on kitsune myths, went to a rave (an this morning remembered why I had decided I was too old for that sort of thing).

I saw this tv programme the other day where a miniature steam train went from Calcutta (I think, but I might be wrong) to Assam. It looked really cool, and it made me think how civilised it would be to sit in that train with my legs dangling over the edge while I had a smoke...
