will insurance pay for it???
2. What is the cheapest medical insurance you can get.
3.and How would I get it.
4. And I want to pay the insurance from home??

THE WIFE

You need to go to an independent insurance agent and have them find the cheapest and best insurance for your particular problem. And you need to do it quick soon. They, its their job, will find the best quotes and payment plans out their for your situation. You don't even pay them, the insurance companies do. Saves you time, work and money. They should offer you at least three different options. If they don't, try another one.
Good Luck.

No, they find it. You look up in the yellow pages for insurance brokers/agents. You go see them, explain everything to them. They find the best company and rates they can for you. They do the work. There isn't any way you could find out all the info they can. They have the connections and current pricing.

I think

You are going to hear the phrase "Pre-existing condition" a lot.

They may well not cover you or not cover treatments for endometriosis because of it. You could possibly aleviate the problem (non coverage/refusal of coverage) by getting on a "group plan" via your current or a new employer.

I know that here in New York it is now illegal for an insurance company not to cover pre existing conditions. It is a relatively new law, but a good one. I hope it is the same there dear.

I know if I get insurance now they will not cover it ..But I'm hopeing they will cover it in a years time...Even tho I have to get surgery NOW! I'm at my last straw so to speak and I need all the help I can get I don't even know if welfare would cover me because I work?

I think you're referring to HIPPA (Health Ins Portability Act). NSW, it's a federal law which would only applies if you've been continuously covered by another group plan for the preceding 12 months (under you or your spouse's employer's plan) AND if that plan and the new plan both cover endometriosis.

Good luck. I know that's a tough disease to deal with and the ins hassles don't make it any easier.

Pre-existing condition in any insurance policy will stop you from getting coverage on that condition for the rest of your life. You could check with the company that insured you before, if you've had medical insurance.

You can also check into something called a medical savings account.

I have epilepsy, if it weren't for the military, I'd have no coverage.

There's a thought. *grins slyly at Eric* I am an Army of one.

I have insurance before an I have a chance to get cobra with the same advantages ,even tho of the endo...So I think i'm lucky so far ...Then maybe not:(

NSW, if you have to you should definitely try welfare. Even if they will not or cannot help you, they can point you in the right direction to finding a solution to your problem. (Well in NYS they do, I don't know about Michigan.) I know plenty of people who work full time jobs and still do not make enough money, and are on partial welfare. The only thing that sucks about it is they seem to give more to the people that sit on their ass and don't even try instead of the people who work their asses off trying to make ends meet and truly need the help. (Thats not always the case, but I see it ALOT)
Anyway im getting off the issue. Try. :)

I don't think Endometriosis falls under a pre existing condition....I have been being treated for it for about 6 years, but thats the thing...there is no way to prove when it developed or how long you have had it...I have undergone one surgery...in my case I decided to keep all my parts and live with it...we have switched insurance companies three times in the last 7 years...granted we are lucky enough to have excellent coverage but I have never had a problem getting my conditioned covered...in fact I have never even had to explain it to any of the companies. Years ago I was on a medical card (equivalent to welfare)I believe they are obligated to cover you.....there is also goverment suplement help to cover you if you work...a Hospital billing dept would be able to direct you to someone.
