I'm having trouble commenting on stories

Is there something wrong with my profile? Am I banned? Do I need some type of point accumulation to comment?

Every time I post a comment while logged in, it never publishes. I have not had any messages about improper comments or anything like that. I am also generally respectful and almost always positive with my feedback. I use google chrome on windows 11, my account is activated, and I have even published a chapter. When I'm not logged in, I can comment anonymously. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Purge your cache, and try again.

Comments to stories don't publish immediately - they go through a spam detection system which runs in batches, and might take a few hours to publish.

Well, there's your problem... Windows 11 and Chrome, you must want Bill to know what you do every minute of the day.

Didn't you read the message you got when you posted the comment? The one about the comment being moderated? I'll bet in you have the same comment on that story multiple times.
