as sleigh bells jingle
fracturing the silence
of nature's wonder
sugarplums tiptoe
from cloud to cloud
sprinkling dreams down
upon tiny sleepy heads
as a tinkling star chorus
sing soft lullabies
coaxing nodding eyes to sleep
moonbeams shine bright
illuminating the night
guiding the ride on
this magical night
of a special joyous elf
whose heart outshines
the brightest sunlight
on a crisp winter snow
as cheer he spreads
along his long ride
an example he does set
of love and caring
given freely from the spirit
as a yawning sun signals
his journey's end
a final wish he sends
for the stars to sing
to those who care to listen
keep love in your heart and
peace always in your mind
follow your spirit
and always believe
all things are possible

droplets appear from the rain
I watch as each of them pass

People passing through
none can see me there
what is really true

I Tried
The shiny steel slices deep and cold,
to add to all the scars of old.
I open my mouth to scream,
but hope this is just a dream.
There are so many tears to cry
but all I have left to do is sigh.
Even though I know these feelings are wrong,
they come to me and are so strong.
All my emotions inside seem to collide,
and I hope everyone will know how hard I tried.
