alas, isn't life boring? We do the same thing, everyday. Everyday is such a cycle of events. There's only so much in the world to explore before you stop and think that it's all really the same thing.

Sometimes you surprise me when one as young as you have so much wisdom. It is indeed rare when a beautiful person like you is witty as well. :rose:

I don't mean to suprise you Mr. Devilish, but if you have seen the things I have seen, and have felt the things I have felt, then maybe you would understand and realize why I am how I am.

ah two of the most creative men to have lived and died *smiles*

I'm scared of the dark. Can I sleep with you tonight and share your wonderful dreams? :)

:/ :/

You know, I go for long periods of time where I entirely forget that you are this strange entity they call a "goth." And then you say something like the above in the context given above and my knowledge of this fact comes crashing back in a surf-meets-rocks cognitive dissonance. (And one more :/ )

I'll supply the caption for this one: "The polar ice caps, as they melt." :(

Ya...I've researched Global Warming heavily in the past yr. I'm doing my best to educate people on the internet about it, and also urging them to sign petitions and elect politicians with ecologically-based platforms.

There are so many things we can do to at least slow the global warming process...it's presently unstoppable, as the feedback loops are in an ever increasing race forward...but we can at least slow it down - perhaps long enough - to give all of the remaining species on Earth a bit more time to adapt to our changing enviroment. I always hope for the best.

Someone posted an image very similar to this one in my No Themes thread a week ago:

I didn't know what it was at the time but I see from quoting your picture that this is the milky way as seen through an infrared lens?

Yes it is...but I'm puzzled as to how we can see our own Galaxy from a satellite?

There are quite a few images of our galaxy ...I'll look for them.

In the meantime, does anyone know how we can see our own galaxy like this when we live inside of it? I mean, wouldn't we have to be out beyond the galaxy to take this pic? 0_0
