To deviate briefly if I may:
Kcar,
Your current images, the whole word escapes me - but it starts with 'frac', are a combination of beauty, elegance, and light. I don't know how the 'scattered' light, bright in some spots and dimmed in others, is obtained... but I enjoy looking at them.

Thank you again.

 :rose:

Hey, Victoria! I'm glad to meet ya!

The images are called fractals, which are created with the mathematics of nature. Nature's complexity is what renders these so beautiful. The artist creates the initial image...the rest is done with a loose mathematical equation that you would find in nature. Chaos Theory and the discovery of loose mathematics in complex systems spawned this genre of art - they are based on the patterns we see everywhere...the way complex systems (weather, animal populations, the growth of a tree, the interaction between a slug and it's environment...even the tiniest movement of a grain of sand (Lion King) and it's place in the Circle of Life. This because every kind of matter and energy in the universe is connected inextricably within a huge web. Everything affects everything else.

Just thinking about that makes me smile. ^_^ No matter how small we may feel, we all play a part in that gorgeous, evolving design.

I don't know how they are made either, Victoria...I only know the basics. :D

I'm glad you're enjoying them! :rose: I've been posting them for quite a while....you may want to venture back several pages. ^_^

How is your (daffodil) friend doing? I hope much better!

Yes, Sugared, I love the fairy pics. My brother and I used to scour for them on the internet and print them for the kids at the orpahange. :)

Wow...that melted my heart. So cool. ^_^

Woah! I've never met anyone with a pet crow, sugared...did you tame it from the wild?

Please do post pics! *is curious and excited*

This is him being a bratt sitting on top of my spiral cedar! I can tell him apart from all the others that I invite not only because he has a small growth on his leg but because he's always the first to fly down to greet me..and he is still very much wild!! It would be so cruel to tame him and cage him eh?

Oh good lord no! Putting him in a cage would just be wrong. It would break his wild heart. He's independent then...they remind me of cats a bit... He's awesome!!

Tell me more! Is he a prankster? The cedar - that's funny. Do you scold him on occasion for stuff like that? Do you provide food for him?

Man what a beautiful place you have! You are in Canada, yes?
