Well, I know you all are dying to know about how my weekend in Toronto went. Or did you forget about me???
Things went great! If you want more details, you will have to ask, though.
Actually, something rather funny happened. I got to the hotel, checked in, and paid. We had pretty crappy service - and this was a Holiday Inn - he was complaining the entire time about how this was an international chain and blah, blah, blah. First, we get up to the floor, and they are renovating - something that we hadn't been informed of. Then, the A/C didn't work properly, which would have been OK, had the window opened. We called maintenence up 3 times and they never fixed the A/C. At this point, we almost switched hotels, but remembering how difficult it was to even find a room for the weekend, I told him to just sit back, relax, just be happy we are together. Then, we call down to extend our stay, because my flight wasn't until 6. All we asked was to stay until 1:00, figuring that we could go catch a movie, eat, then get to the airport. Well, they called us three times wanting to know when we were checking out!! I guess this was the last straw for him.
So, I go down to check out and he is doing a last run through of the room...I wait for him, when he FINALLY comes down, he hands me the car keys and says he'll be out in just a minute, that he needs to check on something. I go out to the car, and I'm sitting there for about 5-10 minutes, he finally comes out, and he's got this bill in his hand. Suddenly, I feel this flush cover my entire body. HE COMPLAINED TO THE MANAGEMENT!!!! UGH!! He got me one night free stay because they sucked so bad. He hands me the bill and $100 and gives me a huge smile and a kiss.
UGH!!! I was so embarrassed that he did that, and then so happy that he looked out for me like that.
All in all, I had a fabulous weekend, filled with lots of sex and laughing and fun.
