I have been in the Bdsm scene for about 20 years and I have met a lot of male Doms, and been good friends with some.

I'm pretty sure Terry Goodkind used and abused this premise in Sword of Truth not that it's wrong. It just struck me as something fairly ridiculous from such a preachy writer. He's a little odd sometimes.
