I would love for my hubby to get one. How much did it hurt? My piercer told me that male nipple piercing hurts worse than female does. Of course, mine barely hurt at all, which is likely why I want to get other piercings.

Thanks, Purple. People probably say it hurts men more 'cause we don't know how to handle pain! No, it didn't hurt that much. I really got myself all psyched up for it and expected a lot worse... in fact, I was kind of hoping for it to hurt more then it did. Sort of why I went in. Anyway, with so much adrenaline running thru my system I had to lay down right after the piercing since that energy had no where to go. Otherwise, I would have been sick all over the place. Same thing happened when I got my ear pierced back in the late 80s! LOL!

The gal who did me was really good. She said she goes quick thru the nipples since they tend to hurt the most, which I suppose helped cut back on any pain.

Worst part is that I eventually developed an infection once that wouldn't go away for a month Before that, first time my current lass and I had the sweet lovin' she almost rip it out due to being lost in passion. Aside from those instances it's been a great body mod and my only one so far. Tats are forever and I don't know if I can trust any other artist to the pallete of my own skin.

Purple, did you get your nipples done at the same time? How was your pain?

That is probably why I haven't got one before now. My sister's boyfriend is an excellent artist though and I would like him to do mine.

Yes, I got them done at the same time, I should have got my clit done too while I was psyched for it. There was only a split second of hot pain and that was it. Like you I was a touch disappointed. I was 'is that it'? But hubby and I love them and I can't wait to get my clit done.

I got my nipples pierced in 1992, so that would be about 12 years ago. They are my favorite piercings of all time, I can't imagine not having them. I started out at 10 gauge, and have gradually put larger jewelry in. They are 4 gauge currently.

I may post a few more pics later.

Ah, the reason I started putting thicker (larger gauge) jewelry in was because I had young children. (Babies love to yank on nipple rings. Ouch!).

My initial reason for getting them pierced was because I had inverted nipples. Blah. I hated innie nipples.
