I'll never manage to write anything

If the names not being accepted by your beta reader (and others) as good names is your only reason for not writing, you don't have a reason. No one died from your writing, no one was hospitalized because it made them violently ill, and no one killed anyone because of the names you chose. You're overreacting and behaving like a spoiled brat. Write, don't write, but stop the constant whining. Get over it, I guarantee. It'll be an easier task than dealing with what many of the writers here have had to overcome to be writers. Your angst doesn't compare to what assault victims have to get over. Believe me, on this: this rejection of names isn't anything to sweat or lose sleep over. It certainly can't be called devastating or crushing.

You're totally missing my point. You shouldn't've. You may be too sensitive a soul to be a writer. Though, if I were to be honest, it's worse than that. But I'm not saying what I think. Again, write, don't write, your choice. But as for me, I'm done trying to point out you're a spoiled brat quitter.

Ah, for the love of god, stop feeding this topic. The guy is just trolling, persistently. He has made three separate topics about the same thing and even though he has gotten dozens of thoughtful replies, he didn't engage or respond to any of them. He just keeps reiterating how he is crushed because he won't be writing what he wants to write. This isn't about writing, this is just about having some fun at the expense of all the people who are trying to be helpful. As fun as it is to watch some of you, I think you should maybe consider stopping the feeding process. 😄
 
I almost wrote The Greatest Book Ever Written Guaranteed To Bring Peace, Health And Prosperity To The Universe.

But I really hate the sound of the word "The," and couldn't figure out how to write the story without it, so I gave up. 🤷‍♂️

Don't give up. Maybe try 'Once up a time,' and see if that works.
