I was reading the 'Meat Eating for Beginners' and 'Veggie' thread and realize that I've never not eaten a food someone has put before me.

Is there any ONE food you refuse to eat? Sometime you wouldn't chew, lick or even sniff at EVER?

Are we talking about a would not eat under any situation kind of food? And is this a food we've never tried before?

Cause once I ordered kippers, and then didn't even touch them because they smelled so awful. But I think if I were in dire straits, I would eat the whole plate.

And I've had my grandmother's zucchini with stewed tomatoes on many prior occasions, and they are so incredibly nasty that I might not eat them even if I were starving.

But a food I've never had and would flat out refuse to eat ever, I can't think of. I would even eat nasty slimy oysters with green gonads.

Asparagus would be at the top of my list too. Given a plate of the five foods I like least, I would eat every bite of the other four before I would even touch asparagus.

I drink carob Rice Dream but I like the original on my cereal more.

I can't.
My mother can though, she also slices it open and leaves salt on it for half an hour, she then cuts it into cubes mashes it, adding something buttery and carmelly and serves it like marsh potatoes.

The kitchen is my mother's domain and woe be to the Never who steps into the kitchen while she's cooking. Not only do I get in her way but se says that my hair might get into the food. Not that she doesn't have hair... or anyone has ever found a hair in her food.
